Our Story
Albany Cosmetic & Laser Centre was established in northwest Edmonton in 2016 with a straightforward principle: aesthetic care should begin with careful listening rather than a predetermined procedure.
Some patients arrive with a specific treatment in mind. Others know what they would like to improve but are uncertain which option is appropriate. Our role is to assess the concern, explain realistic treatment choices and help each patient understand the expected benefits, limitations, cost, downtime and aftercare.
We favour balanced treatment planning over short-lived trends. Recommendations are based on individual anatomy, skin characteristics, relevant medical history, lifestyle, treatment goals and the degree of change the patient considers appropriate.

Our People
Albany’s team members have distinct responsibilities. We present medical direction, authorship, assessment, prescribing and treatment delivery as separate roles rather than combining them into one general title.
Salem Tomi, MD, serves as Albany’s Medical Director, treatment administration and supports the clinic’s medical oversight and patient-safety framework.
Kamal contributes through treatment administration, aesthetic research, scientific writing, technology-focused education and the development of clear patient resources.
Albany’s clinicians and patient-care staff support consultation, treatment preparation, treatment delivery within their authorized roles, and aftercare education.
